Playing Tests on Monday - 12/17
Both Orchestras will have playing tests next Monday. Students should know what excerpts they will be playing. See me if you have any questions.
End of Semester Information
Just a reminder to students in both orchestras: We will be rehearsing festival music in class until the end of the semester…be sure to bring your instruments every day! Also, the final exam will have questions based upon anything that we have covered in class during the course of the semester. This would include any terms, information on composers, and any details about stylistic differences in the baroque and classical periods. We will review for the final exam over the next two weeks. Congratulations on a Great Holiday Concert!
Congratulations to both orchestras on their fine performances at the Winter Concert. We had a huge audience, and I think that everybody had a great time. I would like to thank all of the parent volunteers who helped with the dinner theater. I’m not sure of the exact numbers, but we sold around 175 tickets. The success of our program would not be possible without the support of our parent volunteers, and for this I am very grateful. You guys are awesome!
