There will be a general HOBC meeting this Thursday, November 1st at 7PM in the orchestra room. Please park on the side of the school and enter through the side door. We will be discussing fund-raisers and the Dinner Theater Concert.
The deposit for the trip to Virginia and Washington DC is due this Thursday, November 1st. This $150.00 NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT should be payed to HOBC. The Booster Club will be paying Heritage Festivals a deposit based upon how many people will be going. By paying your deposit you have committed to a hotel room, transportation, tickets for various activities, and a place in the orchestra. If you are a parent and would like to chaperone, please send me an email at: david.doke@cobbk12.org or give me a call at school at 678-331-3961 ext. 249. Chaperone costs will be around $250.00 for the entire trip.
HOBC Membership forms will be handed out to students this week. These will also be available at the booster club meeting on Thursday. If you have not yet joined the HOBC, please consider joining now as we prepare for our Spring Trip.
HOBC has been invited to work the coat check at the Cobb Symphony Concert this weekend. The orchestra informal uniform (orchestra polo shirt with tan or khaki pants) is required. Students working the coat check will not only earn money for their individual account but will have the opportunity to view the performance once coat check duties have been completed.
