Congratulations on a Successful First Semester!
Congratulations to everyone who helped make our first semester at Hillgrove a success! The orchestras have already improved a great deal, and the Hillgrove Orchestra Booster Club is off to a great start! Some of the highlights of the Fall Semester were:
- Formation of the HOBC, and election of officers.
- Students winning positions in the Georgia Youth Symphony and Cobb Honor Symphony.
- A visit from Dr. Michael Alexander, Director of the Cobb Symphony and KSU Orchestras.
- A successful Fall Concert.
- Performance at the Hillgrove Dedication Ceremony.
- Performance for the Media Specialists Tea at Hillgrove.
- Performance at the Governor’s Mansion.
- Hosting the Big Chicken Chorus Shows at Hillgrove.
- A successful Dinner Theater and an outstanding performance at the Winter Concert.
I would like to thank everyone who has helped get the Hillgrove Orchestra program off to a great start. I am excited about the future and I am confident that we will accomplish great things over the coming years.
