Hillgrove Dedication

The official dedication of Hillgrove High School will take place this Sunday at 3:00 in the Hillgrove Theater and the Hillgrove Orchestras have been invited to perform.

I apologize for the late notice, but I hope that everyone can make arrangements to attend.
Originally the performance was going to be in the Media Center, which wouldn’t be large enough for our entire orchestra. However, since the location has been changed to the theater, we will now be able to include everyone.

I would like to invite ALL orchestra members to participate in the ceremony on Sunday. Students should arrive no later than 2:00 PM for a brief rehearsal. The performance will be from 3:00-3:30. Parents are also invited and encouraged to attend.

This is a great opportunity for us to showcase our talents for the community and it is important that we put on our best show. We will be performing the Brandenburg Concerto No. # 3 by Bach, and Ashokan Farewell by Jay Unger, which has been named the school Alma Mater. Please dress in your “Sunday Best” for this performance.

The following speakers will be at the dedication:
Dr. Theresa Plenge, Chairperson of the Board of Education
Lindsey Tippins, from the Board of Education
Fred Sanderson Cobb County School Superintendent
Earl Ehrhart, Georgia State Representative
Dr. and Mrs. Harry Hill

Please make arrangements to be in attendance at this important event!
