Playing Test on Friday, Sept. 29
The next playing test will be this Friday, Sept. 29.
Everyone is responsible for any part of Farandole, as well as the g minor scale (2 octaves) with a hooked bowing.

Sept 22 Playing Test
The next playing test will be this Friday, September 22.
Basses – F Major Scale, two octaves
Celli – Etude
Violas – Etude
Violins – Bach – Beginning to measure 31
This test will be for grades AND chairs.
Latest Booster Club News
At the Booster Club meeting last week (9/14) the following items were discussed:
1) The BYLAWS are nearing completion and will be voted on at the October 26th Concert.
2) Membership levels were set as follows:
$25.00 – Basic Membership
$50.00 – Family Membership (Hillgrove Orchestra car magnet)
$75.00 – Patron Membership (Hillgrove Orchestra T-Shirt)
$100.00 – Sustaining Membership (Free ticket to the Orchestra Banquet)
*Notice – The privilege of holding office, making motions, debating and voting shall be limited to members of the Booster Club who have paid current membership dues.
3) We will have our first fundraiser in late October (candles).
4) Will will have a poinsetta fundraiser at the end of November and beginning of December.
5) We will have concessions avaialable at the Fall Concert (Oct 26), and for two concerts by the Big Chicken Chorus (December 1 and 2).
6) The Winter Concert (December 14) will include a Dinner Theater catered by either Carraba’s, Copland’s or Longhorn Steakhouse. Details will be available as we get closer to the date.
