All-State and Cobb County Honor Orchestra Information

It’s time to begin preparing for All-State Orchestra auditions and Cobb County Honor Orchestra auditions…
District level All-State auditions will be held on October 28th at Pope High School. Information is available at the Georgia Music Educators Association (GMEA) website (listed at the bottom of our links on the right side of this page).
Cobb County Honor Orchestra auditions will be held October 3rd at Sprayberry High School. Information is available at the Sprayberry Orchestra Website (listed at the bottom of our links on the right side of this page).
Even if you do not plan to audition, I would encourage all orchestra students to learn and practice the required scales and etudes for these auditions. These are great excercises that will foster better musicianship and confidence for anyone working on them. See Mr. Doke if you plan to audition for either or both orchestras.
